There are only two Cherry sage (salvia greggii) plants on the library grounds. They are located below the fire escape ramp outside the children's room. This salvia comes in many colors, but cherry red is the most common. These plants bloom intermittently all year, but most profusely in the spring and fall. They should be cut back after bloom periods to encourage reblooming.
