Several cedar elms are planted in front of the building on 8th Street. The trees are young and not very nicely shaped yet. Cedar elms are extremely drought resistant and are used widely in commercial landscaping. There is a mature cedar elm on the southwest corner of the library property, next to the Police Department driveway.
